SL Sawmill, in Leroy, MI, was built in 2011. The mill was designed to be a small log mill. SL only cuts pulp logs. These smaller-diameter logs are best utilized for low-grade lumber or pallet stock. Using the latest technology in both optimization and sawing, SL Sawmill can produce over 100,000 board feet of pallet stock per shift.
Acme Sawmill, located in Walkerville, MI, was purchased in 2004. The mill is primarily a grade mill but also supplies the pallet company with low-grade pallet stock material. When a certain species of lumber or specific cuts are needed, we don’t need to rely on third-party mills for our needs.
